Pension Changes Vote

Yes, we already voted to ratify the Collective Bargaining Agreements (passed!).

This particular vote is for the employees, current and retired, to approve the changes to the Pension Ordinance. A few years back the City’s Pension Provisions were moved from the City Charter to City Ordinance. That means we, the employees, vote on changes instead of the Commissioners. They vote too, but we go first.

Anyway…. you should have gotten a notice in the mail. And you should have gotten the same notice in your work email today. And we are broadcasting it again here.

And the Union supports these changes. We recommend you vote Yes.
